Questions & Answers

Questions were sent by e-mail and answered by the client. This interview was originally given in English.

How was my relationship with stakeholders?

“Eike Otto was always on good terms with the stakeholders. His opinion and work eg on the checkout was as much requested as appreciated”

How did I collaborate with the team?

“Eike Otto was a good match for the team from consumer web at MediaSaturn e-Business GmbH. He was already integrated upon my arrival and helped my to accustom myself to the new team and environment. He was well respected and often asked for his opinion or help.”

What benefits have you experienced from working with me?

“I learned a lot about concept and user story writing. Eike was well structured and always prepared for meetings. His abilities as moderator of workshops to consolidate requirements and developing new concepts were great and I took over a view tricks I’m still using.”

What do you think I lent to the project?

“Passion and continuity. For me Eike Otto was like the “father” of the checkout who had great and in depth knowledge of the subject from scratch to launch to continuous optimization.”

What specific results have you seen from implementing our solution?

“The checkout concept from Eike Otto which we implemented is still in use and had measurable positive impact on conversion rate of the shop.”

How successful was the project?

“As mentioned the checkout is still in use, though architectural and strategical decisions will lead to a new checkout in the near future.”

What surprised you about the project?

“It’s not easy to surprise me. All went well and as expected.”

What did you learn from the project that you did not know before?

“It was less learning about the project as in implementing a concept, but implementing it in a difficult environment with lots of stakeholders. The environment may be unique for my company, but Eike knew a lot about it and helped me out wherever necessary.”
